Our Founder:

Nancy ScagnelliNancy Scagnelli is a Certified Senior Advisor, (CSA) and Geriatric Care Manager. She has a BA degree in Economics and a Certificate in Gerontology. She worked as a financial analyst in Washington, DC and Boston, MA before she returned to her home state of Vermont to raise her family. For the past 13 years, Nancy had been the primary Care Manager for her two parents residing in Shelburne. Her mother recently passed away from complications of both Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Nancy is the youngest of seven children. She is married and has two sons and a daughter. Nancy enjoys sailing, boating, hiking, spending time with her family and friends and donating time to raising money for the Vermont Respite House and the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf.

Annemarie MinerAnnemarie Miner is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager. Annemarie has spent over 15 years in the healthcare industry helping and supporting elderly individuals and their families. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Gerontology and a Master’s Degree in Family Studies with a concentration in Gerontology. Annemarie lives in Colchester, VT with her much loved husband, Kirk, and they are the grateful parents of two amazing daughters. Annemarie also loves running, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy and Annemarie are owner/members of Elder Care Connections of Vermont, a  geriatric care management business.
